At the Cambridge YMCA Preschool, we pride ourselves on providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. Our classroom consists of mixed ages 2.9 to 5 years. Our preschool children are encouraged to learn cooperatively, to be self-assured, confident, and problem solve with the help of our well experienced and educated staff. We focus on responding to the children’s needs, interests, and questions about the world around them.
Our program offers a curriculum that is theme based, with open-ended activities which allow children to have the freedom to make choices and direct their own play. Our classroom includes block, dramatic play, science/math, writing, and listening areas.
We also offer special programs. These include a monthly nutrition program, weekly exercise program, weekly swimming lessons all taught by experienced professionals, and weekly music classes brought to you by Jammin’ With You! At the YMCA Preschool we serve breakfast and snacks for the morning and afternoon while the children bring their own lunches from home. The Cambridge YMCA Preschool is fully licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Childcare.

Cost:
- Full Days (7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.): $1450/month**
- Deposit: A $400 non-refundable deposit is due upon acceptance into program
**effective 9/1/24, tuition rates will increase to $1600/month
