At the Cambridge YMCA Preschool, we pride ourselves on providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. Our classroom consists of mixed ages from 2.9 to 5 years. Our preschool children are encouraged to learn cooperatively, to be self-assured, confident, and problem solve with the help of our well experienced and educated staff. We focus on responding to the children’s needs, interests, and questions about the world around them. The Cambridge YMCA Preschool is fully licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Childcare.

Our classroom has a block area, dramatic play area, science/math area, and a few sensory areas.
