At the Cambridge YMCA After School Program, children have many opportunities to grow and discover new hobbies and interests. Children have access to a wide range of enrichment and educational activities including arts and crafts, swimming lessons, gym time, and other classroom activities.

Children are also offered a quiet, supervised space specifically for completing homework. Snack is given daily and full-day care is available during February and April Vacations. The Cambridge YMCA After School is fully licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care.

Hours of operation: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Mon – Fri)

Payment: $675/month**

**effective 9/1/24, tuition rates will increase to $700/month

Vouchers and limited Financial Assistance is available

2:00 – 3:00: Arrival and Free Play

3:00 – 3:45: Snack / Homework Time

3:45 – 4:30: Teacher Activity

4:30 – 5:15: Gym / Swimming

5:15 – 5:45: Choices

5:45 – 6:00: Closing Activities/Dismissal

Our goal at the YMCA has always been to create a space for healthy youth development. We encourage children to stay active both physically and mentally and to take care of themselves. We promote positive mindsets, healthy eating, and active bodies.
