Narrative Dimensions of the Stage

The Proscenium is 19'8" wide and 13'9" high at plaster. Behind the proscenium, there are two short returns, going off-stage, the opening at its widest BEHIND the proscenium is 20'10". From the proscenium to the up-stage wall measures 10'4". The stage space is a trapezoid and so Upstage wall is smaller than the proscenium, measuring 17'9". Extending from the proscenium is a stage extension. This measures 24' across by 6'10" deep, making the total dimensions from US wall to apron 17'2". Because the space is so irregular, we recommend coming and taking a look at it to help clarify these measurements.
